In Arena Breakout: Infinite, a great raid you don't extract from is just an expensive death. Survival is a skill on its own. Here are the fundamentals that separate players who keep their loot from players who feed it to someone else.

The single biggest habit: pick your extraction point early and stay aware of the route to it. Loot greed kills more players than aim ever will. Every item you pick up should come with the question. Can I actually carry this out?

This sounds obvious in theory and is difficult in practice, because the moment you spot a rare item, the temptation to push one more room or hold your position a little longer is strong. Building the discipline to walk away from good loot when the risk outweighs it is arguably the single most valuable skill in the entire genre. More valuable than any individual gunfight skill.

Peeking corners with intent rather than habit, checking whether a door was left open by someone ahead of you, and noticing gear scattered where a fight already happened. All of it builds a picture of where danger is likely before you actually walk into it. What separates raiders who consistently improve from ones who plateau isn't usually aim or gear. It's whether they can make a clear-headed decision under pressure. The moment gunfire erupts nearby, the instinct is to freeze, panic-push, or panic-run, and any of the three tends to be worse than a deliberate choice made a second later. Experienced players train themselves to default to a plan (hold, reposition, or disengage) rather than reacting purely on adrenaline.

Extraction shooters reward patience and punish ego. Bank small wins, learn the maps, and your stash grows raid by raid. The tension never fully goes away, that's the point.
